Philadelphia artist Richard Budman attended the Museum College of Art and the Tyler School of Fine Arts. He had his first one man show in 1955.
In 1984 he was the featured artist at the River Gate Convention Center during the World's Fair in New Orleans. In 1987 he was awarded a one man show at Temple University for his "Figurescapes" collection.
Budman started the 21st Century off by creating his signature style CubeRism.
It is the summation of his love of art, animals both pets and people.
He relies heavily on his natural meter which is akin to jazz improvisation.
